August 2008 was filled with multiple celebrations of love <3.

Starting off with…

my dear sister’s engagement!

I helped her plan the whole thing and Alhamdulillah, everything went well. The hantarans I (helped) made turned out awesome too, tee heee. Can’t wait for the BIG day next year! Although I secretly dread the day for it would be the day that I will lose my one and only sister. 😦

080808 saw our head girl, Hidayah Jaris, or affectionately known to STFians as Dayout getting married to Afiq, a KYS boy who is currently her classmate in Moscow. Yes, they’re still students! Medical students nonetheless. (Tabik spring lah korang, good luck in juggling things!) Dayout is the second of us 9903 girls to get married after J.E in 2006.

A bunch of us came all the way from KL, Kuantan and Perak to Simpang Renggam just to witness our head girl take the plunge. The turnout was bigger compared to J.E’s, probably due to the head girl factor hahaa. Dayout looked so different after being dolled up! It felt like only yesterday that me and Nuha planned a surprise birthday party for Dayout back in 2003, and now she’s already married! Geez.

NK and Dinie, you two were deeply missed!

Anyway I love batch weddings! We conquered nearly one canopy to ourselves, yakked and camwhored like nobody’s business. Had fun reminiscing the good ole days, and getting updates on everyone’s current whereabouts and new jobs. And of course, we gossiped the afternoon away! So much fun!! 🙂

The weekend after was another batchmate’s turn to get hitched. This time it’s in Meru for Sikin Ahmad’s big day! I only managed to attend the solemnization ceremony as I had another wedding to go to on the reception day. It was a simple event, but very sweet and syahdu y’all. Sobs.

Sikin and husband Rafeeq are also still studying in Russia. So we came to a conclusion that kalau nak kawin awal, belajar kat Russia. LOL.

Congratulations Dayout and Sikin! Selamat menjadi Puan-puan yang berjaya! May you guys always sail in the same direction, sharing aspirations, hopes, dreams and whatnot. Cheers.

So girls, who’s next? Jeng jeng jeng.

P/S : I’ve managed to attend ALL batch weddings so far. Heh heh heh. Jangan jealous yo.
